Description
The whole triangle is worked as an open diamond mesh, rows of small square holes that let light and hair colour through, so the scarf reads as texture rather than a solid block of colour. The yarn is 100% cotton, matte and slightly dry to the touch, in a deep wine burgundy. Both ends of the long edge continue into narrow braided ties, so it fastens at the nape without a bulky knot. At 54 cm along the top edge it sits over the crown and the back of the head rather than covering it fully.
